Step 1: Open the file below and complete the Regents Exam. For every problem that you know the answer to, answer the problem and SHOW ALL YOUR WORK. For every problem that you are unsure about, write down any ideas that you have about how to solve the problem.

Step 2: Use the Regents Strategies discussed in class (Elimination, Substitution, Determining Importance, Drawing Diagrams) to review the problems that were unanswered in Step 1. Answer any questions that you now know the answer to. SHOW ALL YOUR WORK - including your use of the strategies. Use the templates below to help you show your work based on whichever strategy you employed.

How to show your work for the strategies:

Elimination - Explain in words WHY you were able to eliminate each answer. Label each question and answer choice by number. Use the template below.

Substitution - If you substitute the answer choices into the problem, on a separate sheet of paper, show how you worked out each answer choice until you found the correct answer. Explain how you knew whether each answer was correct or not.

Determining Importance - Underline the important information. Explain how you knew that this information was important.

Drawing Diagrams - Include the diagram with everything labeled.

Step 3: Meet with Tegan to review the remaining problems.
